Nice little place in Mesick. In addition to food, homemade jellies are served with your toast, and can be purchased if you desire. Everything takes a bit of time, as it is prepared when ordered by the customer. If you're in a hurry, don't do this

Breakfast and lunch. I was really excited to find homemade gluten free bread and gf pancakes on the menu. Celiac friendly. Local honey and maple syrup available for purchase. Fresh cookies and baked goods. Busy and not speedy, but so freaking good. Had to try everything.

The kind of place where everyone is a friend. The kind of place where patrons at separate tables converse with each other and share stories of their fun at the Mesick Mushroom Festival over the weekend. The kind of place where the kind waitress, though clearly is busy with 1000 things she could be doing, takes the time to sit down with an older gentleman sitting alone at a neighboring table and have breakfast with him. The coffee was decent, the breakfast was yummy, the homemade toast and jam stole the show but the kindness of the waitress, I will never forget that! Happy Monday!

One of the best breakfast places in the Midwest. From the smothered biscuits and gravy, to the homemade sourdough toast, and the home jelly- everything is absolutely delicious. I also had the mushroom & Swiss omelet- perfection. The Swiss cheese was melted to like almost a sauce consistency. Wow! And Jenny is the sweetest lady!

The quintessential small town restaurant. Jennifer the owner waits the tables and is super friendly and on top of things. I didn't get other staff members names but everyone was smiling and pleasant. We had breakfast and everything was very good. The pancakes are huge and the real maple syrup is fantastic. My wife had an omelet and throughly enjoyed it.

A true slice of great Americana. Its not flashy or dazzling, but if you want a great home-cooked meal and friendly service, stop by here. The prices are reasonable and you can also get jams and jellies fresh made right there. Excellent place to eat.
